Cadillac Returns To Hollywood

Under the hot lights of TV and film sets throughout Hollywood, Cadillac cars, like the Cadillac CTS, are shining brighter than some of the stars driving them. This American luxury auto maker is making a comeback to screens big and small. Cars have always been the center of a series, and many are going back to iconic cars made in America.

It's not only new Caddy's that pop up all over television. Check out A&E reruns of The Sopranos, where Tony drives his early-2000's Cadillac Escalade when he meets up with "friends of theirs." You can go even further back to 1960's drama Mad Men, where dashing Don Draper cruises the streets of Manhattan in his classic Cadillac Coupe.

Back to modern times, where Entourage Star Jeremy Piven can be seen checking out Hollywood clubs in a CTS coupe.

"It helps people update their opinion of our product because it is very convincing," says Cadillac communications manager David Caldwell. The company lent a CTS-V to the HBO in 2010, and also gave the keys to a V wagon to Jackass executive producer Derek Freda.1

Seems like a good strategy - Piven tweeted to1.25 million Twitter followers that the "V-8 on the CTS-V is a beast."

Witness this 'beast' for yourself at Capitol Chevrolet Cadillac - 2711 Mission Street. SE in Salem, OR.
