The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program (OCVRP) offers rebates for Oregon drivers who purchase or lease electric vehicles. Unlike tax credits, OCVRP offers a rebate at the point of sale or after purchase for eligible electric vehicles. Learn how to apply.
This initiative, overseen by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), aims to reduce vehicle emissions and promote the adoption of electric vehicles across the state.
Due to high demand and limited funding, OCVRP will be open for a short time in 2026. Vehicles must be purchased or leased August 25, 2026, through November 4, 2026 to qualify. Any vehicles purchased or leased prior to August 25, 2026, while the program was suspended, are NOT eligible to apply for Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebates. Purchases or leases made after November 4, 2026 will not be eligible for Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebates. Applicants will be placed on waitlist if rebate funds are depleted.
