SILVERTON, OR | 2014 Chevrolet CruzeMarch 12, 2025This response is regarding my 2014 Diesel Chevy Cruze. The cars check engine light came on and popped two codes P2463 and P2455. When we brought the into the shop we specifically stated the Particulate Filter was the issue, which is code P2463. $2600 later and three weeks in the shop. The P2455 code was addressed but the P2463 code (specific to the particulate filter) was not addressed. The service rep stated that because when they ran the codes again after the P2455 service was completed the code went away. The car was picked up and less then 24 hours later the cars check engine light came on and this time code P2002 was found. Service rep called to say the Catalytic Converter failed and needed to be replaced and it would cost $3900. This is very frustrating as the Particulate Filer(DPF) and Catalytic Converter work together and if the DPF filter was dealt with in the first place it just seems like that service could have prevented this major issue. As you can imagine this is very frustrating. I purchased this car from you in 2014, if you pull up the service history of this vehicle you will see that your service department has dealt with all service/repairs. Was a little confused with where to go when I first arrived, but after a minute or so a service advisor came out to greet me on the service drive. Customer waiting area was clean and the accommodations were well above average compared to other service centers. All of the employees I interacted with were professional and courteous. The service report generated was thorough and easy to understand. Upselling is always something to be expected, its a business and need to generate revenue, with that said it was appreciated that when I declined the services I was not pressured any further.Jerry R

I have tried my best to maintain the car through the years since it was "my baby".Along with an oil and filter change, I had a mechanical problem with the car that was diagnosed by the technician but they then declined to do the repairs. The part was not available through Chevrolet and I presume, they did not want to bother with locating it elsewhere. I was told that I would have to find a mechanic at some other shop who would work on it. It was a disappointing experience and after all these years, I will probably not be back.Larry R
